So I need to buy about $15 worth of things from the big online tackle store. But you know how it works – free shipping over $50, so I need to spend $35 more to save that $5 :teeth:.  Problem is, I can’t find anything I need (I have a lot of tackle, keep this in mind). So I’m calling on your expertise and experience to inform me of a lure/hook/accessory/etc. that I never realized I needed. Maybe something that is at staple in your arsenal, but most people overlook. I fish in about every possible scenario, from deep and clear water, to shallow and muddy, and everything in between.

P.S. Please refrain from any financial responsibility lectures you may feel are necessary. I’m just asking for help to think outside my proverbial (tackle) box.

Remember that there's apparel, too.  Shirts & hats are always needed.

Do you own a black dog g2 shellcracker by any chance ?

Hack attack jigs ?

Rage products need replenishing ?

Some jerkbaits ?

Can't go wrong with buying fluoro either

I've been buying Popmax baits like it's my job.  Two will get you over the limit.

Like when the grocery store is running a deal, buy the "staples" that don't go bad...hooks, weights, you know, terminal stuff, maybe some plastics, that you always have and can never have too much of.

I don't know how many more times I can keep putting that Live Target Best of Show pack in my cart and then take it out.  That'd add a quick $25.  Their terminal tackle listings are always changing...already have a swing jig, a jika, a Freedom jig, and a scrounger?  Can't ever have enough skirts and JJ's....I don't seem to have much trouble getting free shipping at the warehouse place.

Assuming it is TW, does buying a gift card bring you over?

Also:

These are some unique (to me) things on my list for my next order.

Z-man Pop Shads, batwing trailers, diesel minnowz, plametto bugz, hard leg frogz, and turbo crawz.

Mustad Fastach football head weight (swinging jig)

R2S S-waver

You could also buy a bunch of stuff on the clearance page, Stock up on a few of your favorite hard bait or hollow belly frog! and I 2nd getting a t-shirt or hat!

I just went through this same deal, went on Tw to get a couple spinnerbaits and ended up with a bunch of owner soft plastics, wiggle warts, tubes, and war eagle spinnerbaits.

One word: Megabass.   :)

Pop-Max, X-Pod, Vision 110...  it won't take but a couple to get you to the free shipping minimum.

Tight lines,

Deepen your inventory of go-to baits. Say you're down to your last bag of GYCB 5" Hula Grubs in color #176, why don't you get two more bags? And how about Gamakatsu 1/0 Octopus Circle hooks for wacky rigging? Got enough? And hey . . . maybe now's the time to try spybaiting so you'll want a Duo Realis Spin Bait 80 in the Komochi Wakasagi color. Of course you'll want to optimize your presentation of this amazing little offering so you will need a St. Croix 7' ML rod and a Shimano Stradic 2500 which you will fill with Sunline Sniper FC - 6 lb.

What was that amount again? $500.00?

Yeah, $500...wait...

All right, some good suggestions, thanks. I have nearly everything mentioned except a Popmax and S-waver. A glide bait would definitely be new for me.

This a classic problem. I find myself putting a couple things into my cart. To find myself saying "well another $X more and I get free shipping"

This then leads to "well I have free shipping, but only $X more and I get a free shirt!"
