Super User Jig Man Posted July 28, 2008 Super User Posted July 28, 2008 I have tried lots of different paints on jigs. I prefer powder paint over all the others. This is where I get mine. I buy it by the pound. http://www.csipaint.com/powderpaint.htm Quote
Dances with Bass Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I use powder paint for my jig heads. I preheat them in an oven to 350 F. and dip them in powder, after I've done a few, I put them back in the oven for 15 or 20 minutes to cure. The cured powder paint is very durable. I recently ordered a fluid bed and awaiting its arrival as the fluid bed should put the paint on more evenly. Quote
IDbasser Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I use powder paint too. Clean out the hook eye, then cure in the oven for a very durable finish. I use pro-tec paint. Quote
