I am mainly a saltwater fisherman in the bays and occasionally in the ocean. Sometimes in the fresh.

Which reel would be better for me?

The tatula HD is corrosive resistant and the Coastal zillion is also.

The zillion is at least 5 years old I believe and the Tatula HD is new.

What do you think is a better reel overall?

Zillions are built like tanks and 100% proven to be awesome reels for years and years of usage.

Well I believe the hd is meant for higher capacity applications along with a much heavier duty drag.

The Zillion is a tank and has been around for a long time for good reason.
