Joedodge Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 So I know that mixing anything with white is a horrible idea. But as far as mixing greens and dark colors and stuff together. What's yalls opinion? I'm trying to condense my bank fishing back pack and wana cut bags in half and condense them so I can carry a max variety with less bulk and weight in my pack. I'm mostly talking gambler, and yum and culprit baits. No elastec tech stuff. Quote
Kevin22 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Red and chartreuse are the known bleeders. Keep those baits contained in their own packaging. 1 Quote
Ozark_Basser Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I've mixed various colors of soft plastics before and the colors did mix together. None of them were red, white, or chartreuse. Quote
Joedodge Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Hmmm interesting. I suppose an alternative would be cutting bags in half quantity wise Quote
Kevin22 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Could always just take what you think you will need and leave the rest in the truck, then if you need it just go back and exchange it for the stuff that didn't work. That's what I usually do. Quote
Joedodge Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Yeah there is always that also. I struggle with stuff like that since I fish a lot of trails and bigger park lakes. So I'm far away from the truck after a while. And I'm just that guy who has to drag the whole house..........ugh lol Quote
Kevin22 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Guess you'll just have to take some out of each bag if you need to cut weight. You know what is going to happen though, you are going to hit a hot bait and only have 3-4 of them. Quote
Joedodge Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Haha I thought about that! That's a very good point Quote
chadmack282 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 5 of each in there own small sandwich or zip lock bag 1 Quote
EvanT123 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 This is my car/friend box. Mix away nothing to worry about. Quote
Joedodge Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 That's about what I'm thinking of doing!! Awesome!!! 1 Quote
