The line is laying pretty uneven on my spool. It keep trying to wrap below the spool. It didn't come with any shims.

Even when I make a long cast to even it out it still lays heavy down low. Any ideas?

I found this under the spool and removed it. It seems a lot better now. But it also feels like I have a lot less range in my drag. Like if I set my drag on the lower end my spool feels somewhat loose... Maybe it's just me? But other than that my line does lay a lot more even now.

The bread tie is so I don't loose it.

Remove a shim from under the spool.

Too much line on the bottom remove a shim, too much on top add a shim.

My Daiwa tierra had a line spoolng problem, it has a metal piece that I don't know how to remove to add a shim.  I sent into Daiwa a few years ago and I needed a part, which they fixed at no charge after warranty.

I'm having the same problem again, not too bad so I'm living with it.

Thats the shim alright, you didnt get extras in the box?  My Lexa never needed extra shims but it had 2 or 3 in a tiny ziploc with the instructions.  That shim would have no effect on your drag.
