I noticed the low price tag on this line. Does that mean that it is not a low-stretch, strong Fluro? Anyone like this line? I might use the 14lb for my worms on the bottom.

They make 14 lb red label? I thought it went 12 then 15. Either way, I've used it quite a bit. It's good stuff for the money. I've pulled some decent sized fish out of some gnarly stuff with that line.

I use it. Have been for a few years. Its a good flouro choice without spending a bunch of money. I also use Abrazx. Twice the price of Red Label. Since I didn't mark the reels in any way, I couldn't honestly tell you which line is on which reel. That's one reason I've been thinking about using Red Label exclusively. Can't tell the difference, why bother?

I really like it. Best low price fluoro i have found. I use 15# on my football jig rod and have thrown some t-rigs with it, works great. Low stretch, very sensitive, and good abrasion resistance. Cant wait to throw squarebills with it this year.

I use 8 on a spinning reel, and 4 on my UL reels. Also great.

Looking to put 10# on my jerkbait rod as well.

Red Label is my favorite floro.  However, I mostly use it as leader material.

Glorified mono to me.

Ok as leader material at best.

Spend $10 more and get sniper.

It's a great line, the best value in FC line IMO.

I've used it nearly exclusively for my FC needs the last 4 seasons.  I've found that it's downfall is longevity, it wont last nearly as long as some of the more popular and more expensive lines before getting coiled and unmanageable...But I replace my line very frequently so this doesn't concern me.  If you spool up once a season and want it to last all year, it might not be a good choice for you.  When fresh, it is on par with many of the more expensive lines.

I buy 4000 yards of it a season in bulk (2000 yards of 15# and 1000 yards each of 12# and 10#) and then filler spools as needed of 20# and 8#.  I could do the same with a more expensive line, but I don't feel the difference in performance is enough to makeup for the $200+ difference in price it would cost per season....

It's a good line at a good price.  Not the best, but the price to performance ratio is the best in the business.  My experience and opinion only, YMMV. :)

No, it's not mono, it's flouro. AND, it's great as a main line...Glorified?...I don't know...maybe. Oh,...the $10...I'll keep it and stop at Steak and Shake for breakfast on the way to the lake. Hope you don't mind...lol.

Hootie I will use my savings from buying Red Label (I like it a lot for the money) on terminal tackle and oatmeal. Steak and Shake is too pricey for a poor boy.

I think Red Label is a great value, but I use for leaders only.

I hear ya. Health-wise, your much better off with oatmeal than Steak & Shake. I'm just pickin' on rippin-lips.

My typical fishing breakfast is a zucchini, cranberry, walnut muffin after I get on the lake. My wife makes them

and they are AWESOME. Hard for me to eat just one.

Red Label is one of the best budget priced fluoros out there. I use it a lot for main lines and leaders and will continue to do so.

I've tried both the InVisx and the Red Label.  I have 4 Abu Garcia STX's  loaded all the reels with both lines and I can't tell the difference between them.  Great line!!!
