Super User Senko lover Posted March 20, 2015 Super User Posted March 20, 2015 Nothing like a popper bite! Good job. Quote
neocrunch Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 I started with a jerkbait, but there's quite a bit of algae just below the surface of the water (is this normal right after ice out?). I kept reeling in big globs of neon green muck. As a last resort I tied on the popper. I'm glad I did. Quote
lectricbassman Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Nice way to start the season, congratulations! Quote
CRANKENSTIEN Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 algae below the surface at ice out isn't usual around here. there can be a slime on the bottom. Quote
