I'm going to throw this out there:

If you have a dicks sporting goods nearby- check out the field and stream inferno. While I wouldn't rely on it for sensitive bottom work, it is a lightweight workhorse. I got one for vacation ( in my avatar) and it performed well on t-rigs for smallies. But moving baits is what its best at. When I got back from vacation, I bought 2 more for inshore kayak rods. They have performed flawlessly for 8 months now. I've caught many many redfish up to 27" on them and countless trout and flounder.

I'm considering getting on of their 7'6" H/m for a deep cranking rod.

They're $30.

For slightly better options. .. the acedemy h20 rods and the field and stream tech specs are pretty nice.

I'll second on the inferno, great little Rod for about $30. I have the 6'6 m casting model. I use it as a pond Rod due to it being 2 piece. I use it for all my moving baits, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and topwater. No probles I have encountered yet.
