Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted March 17, 2015 Super User Posted March 17, 2015 I paired a Zebco Z03 omega pro with a Abu Garcia Volatile 7 ft Medium fast rod. Holy dang. The Z03 slings the hell out of a bait. Dang accurate too. I'm quite impressed with this reel. She has the black Z03 Pro coming for her birthday so she should be stoked with that one too. The rod is about what I expect out of the Abu rods. Sensitive and strong. Any of yall tried out the z03 yet? Quote
B-Dozer Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I bought a Z03 from a member here for a neighbor's kid. He loves it, casts it darn well. Rock solid too 1 Quote
Bruce424 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I was gonna buy that reel for my gf. But I took a chance and handed her a baitcaster and she picked up using casters pretty good. Those zo3s have an oscillating spool That's what I liked about them. Quote
Hyrule Bass Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 i wrote off Zebco due to bad experiences, never tried that model though. aint used to seeing you in this section Raider, i coulda swore you stopped fishing at one point Quote

Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted March 18, 2015 Author Super User Posted March 18, 2015 Long Mike and Glenn let me wander around the other forums about once or twice a year. Otherwise they keep me locked down there. I just happened to tunnel my way out this time. i wrote off Zebco due to bad experiences, never tried that model though. aint used to seeing you in this section Raider, i coulda swore you stopped fishing at one point Quote

Super User new2BC4bass Posted March 18, 2015 Super User Posted March 18, 2015 Bought the Z03 Pro for my daughter's boyfriend. He only uses spincast reels. He seems very pleased with it, but too darn cold around here yet to be out fishing. Quote

Delaware Valley Tackle Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 At first I thought this thread title was "Bought New Girlfriend a Condo" and we needed an intervention. Quote
