Hey everyone,

I just got a new Lowrance unit and I am looking for some different mounting set ups. I'm looking to mount it up at the bow of the boat, so I was just curious how you guys have it set up. Next year I will be looking at get another Lowrance for the console so if you have a picture of that set up that would be great for future reference.

I am currently running an aluminum Legend but I figure you can use the same mounts as the fiberglass boat other then the flush mount.

Thanks!

I had a ram mount up front, but I recently replaced it with a precision sonar mount.  The ram was ok but it would flop around in rough water no matter how much I tightened it down.  The precision sonar mount  is much better, it doesn't move at all.  I have an aluminum boat also.

I've got a RAM mount at both the console and the bow. They allow you to move it any which way you want. As long as you have the appropriate size mount for the locator you plan to mount on it it shouldn't move around too much. You can use all the same mounts you see on fiberglass boats on aluminum boats as well.
