WdyCrankbait Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Helsinki Shad does really well for me in clear water. Experiment, have fun, all the suggestions are good here. Maybe see who lives closest to you and start with those colors. Good luck! Quote
Mark J Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I have more than 150 Dts in various colors and sizes, the top color producers for me have been Bleeding Olive Shiner, Hot Mustard and Helsinki Shad.....strange, I have abused mine to no end and never have I broken a bill. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 22, 2015 Global Moderator Posted March 22, 2015 I like the bait quite well, except.. I have broke many bumping cover, not slapping the bait in the water to remove veg. I have 9 left, when these are gone I will be investing in Spro cranks.. I bought a bunch of DT 6's and caught a lot of fish with them, but when they started falling apart, I quit buying them. No excuse for a nearly $10 bait to fall apart on the retrieve, while fighting fish, or during the cast?? That last one really ticked me off because not only did the body of the bait fly off when I tried to cast, but my reel blew up because all the weight was suddenly gone. Quote
Super User Chris at Tech Posted March 22, 2015 Super User Posted March 22, 2015 For me, I'd choose Shad and either Parrot or Hot Mustard. 1 Quote
