Hopefully these pictures will do it justice. I have never tried to upload anything before. Gave up in frustration and switched to Photobucket. Thanks Bluebasser for the suggestion :).

Caught my new PB today at the pond! I've caught one in that range before but never had it weighed. The bass I caught tonight was 4 1/3 pounds, caught on a red Cotton Cordell Spot (that I got yesterday). It looks biggest in the last picture, it doesn't look as big as it really is in the pictures (it was official!).

If you live in the south, get out there. I've caught the two biggest bass of my life in the last two weeks.

Next trip is to Falls Lake on Saturday. I've heard they crush liplesses there. Watch out....this streak might not be over.

P.S. Forget the nerdy hat; couldn't find my usual one and was in a hurry to get out the door.

Nice fish.  Hope you beat it soon, and keep the streak alive.

Thanks guys. I forgot to add the best part: I was "along for the ride" on my sister's date. I convinced her & her boyfriend to take a walk by the pond so I could fish. Shameless, I know, but hey! I got a PB out of it.

Do you ever fish Harris Lake? I live in Southeastern Wake County about 3-4 miles from Harris and fish & kayak there often.  I've never fished Falls Lake but have heard it's pretty good.

I have never fished it. I don't have transportation to be able to fish the lakes very often. Falls is only about 15 minutes from where I live in Wake County. I have heard that Harris is a great lake. A lot of vegetation there, right? I have fished Jordan for crappie, and would someday like to knock Harris off the list.

yes!!!  how loud did you holler?  PB's rock!  sometimes i wonder if the fish go back and tell their buddies, "i was caught by a new pb today.  this one had to go at least 200 pounds."

awesome.  now go get another one.

I've got family down in Mebane NC. We visited last year in September and I drooled while I was driving over falls bc had a guy down there that has a boat but he usually cat fishes but he was going to take me out. He backed in the lake the morning we got down there and went to start the prop up and his prop shaft split in like 8 places I believe they said lol. But I went and bank fished the Graham-Mebane lake which was voted the best bass fishing lake in NC or something like that. It was down a few feet and raining but I found a bunch of lures in roots around the lake walking. Let me know how Falls treats you I'll be down sometime this year and I'll either be there or Jordan bc that's where he usually fishes. Oh and almost forgot lol Congratz!!!!

Looks like weve got a fish kisser over here! Congrats on the PB! Always a good feeling. Set goals and then watch them swim away.

No, I'm not really a fish kisser. My sister's boyfriend suggested I get a posed picture. I don't really have anything against fish kissing, but I just don't do it.
