Florida also has a lot of predators to eat bass if there was a 20lb bass it was probably gator food lol

Bass are their own biggest predator in a vast majority of waters. Not that they wouldn't eat them, but gators target mostly land animals, catching a slippery fish is a lot more work than sneak attacking a critter walking along the bank.

We have our share of pigs down here in Florida. But I will agree, not a World Record Pig.

Yep, tons of fish bigger than our state record and tons that I'd love to catch!

Was Dottie on the list? Kinda hard to decipher the numbers in the list.

No, because Dottie was foul hooked. That is a list of the biggest bass ever legally caught.

Man that stinks. It seems like they would be like, "well you still brought it out of the water so we will count it." I can't imagine how I would feel if someone was showing off their state record or world record fish and I was like "oh yeah well I had a bass weigh a quarter century and I held that pig!" Lol

What if you caught a state/world record and then someone beat it with a fish they snagged off a spawning bed? I'm guessing most guys are going to be less than thrilled about that.
