Super User RoLo Posted March 16, 2015 Super User Posted March 16, 2015 About a year ago, I moved up from my 8-ft Minn Kota Talon to the 12-ft telescoping Talon. What a joy! It's a sleek piledriver with no interfering outrigging (no grasshopper legs like the Power Pole). It has 'rough water' mode where the anchor tamps down to hold the boat in place in choppy weather. In water deeper than 12 ft, the 'Spot Lock' on the Minn Kota electric motor holds the boat in place via GPS Roger Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted March 16, 2015 Super User Posted March 16, 2015 If you watch Lindners show you'll see Talons mounted to aluminum boats in every show. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted March 16, 2015 Super User Posted March 16, 2015 If you watch Lindners show you'll see Talons mounted to aluminum boats in every show. It helps that Lindner is sponsored by Johnson Outdoors. 1 Quote
