About a year ago, I moved up from my 8-ft Minn Kota Talon to the 12-ft telescoping Talon.  What a joy!          

It's a sleek piledriver with no interfering outrigging (no grasshopper legs like the Power Pole).

It has 'rough water' mode where the anchor tamps down to hold the boat in place in choppy weather.

In water deeper than 12 ft, the 'Spot Lock' on the Minn Kota electric motor holds the boat in place via GPS
