Super User Hookemdown. Posted July 10, 2008 Super User Posted July 10, 2008 Well, she isn't much, but I'm pleased for the first try. I actually started it last year and finally finished it in March. Thought I'd share. Quote
MattStrykul Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 That's one sweet lookin swimbait hookemdown. Have you caught anything on it? Hows the action? Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted July 10, 2008 Super User Posted July 10, 2008 the shape reminds me of a strike king king shad and the color reminds me of a MS slammer. nice job. are the fins carved right into the bait? Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted July 10, 2008 Author Super User Posted July 10, 2008 The fins are made of lexan, epoxied into slots. I'm pleased with the action. It as a nice side to side motion and can be crawled on top or cranked down to about 2 ft. Quote
Ifish4keeps Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 looks great! especially the fins and tail!! Quote
BIG M Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 You've been holding out on us. That is a great looking bait. I will give you an idea to try on the next one. Move your lip slot forward toward the line tie just a bit. Make the lip angle 78 degrees and it will wake on the surface much easier. The max depth will be less than a foot. Quote
