I got on the lake at about eight and for some reason my trolling motor stopped working at around eleven so I called it quits early and headed back to the ramp, when I got back I saw a man I know named John putting his high dollar bass boat in. This man has won Idk how many tournaments at this lake and fishes lakes all over the place, I tell him about my situation and then he offered to let me fish with him for the day.

I've always wanted to fish with him I just never asked, we fished all day and he caught 3 small bass and I caught nothing but I still had a blast riding in his bass boat that has a 200HP engine!

People can be so nice, he even got my number and said the next time he enters a tournament around here he'll give me a call.

I learned two big things from fishing with him today.

1. Big motors make boats go very fast

2. Flipping all day really puts a hurting on those not used to it!
