In addition to those, I also recommend

looking at some Daiwa models like the

Lexa. Solid reel for the money. Started

out over $100 but it's under that at many

shops now.

Lews tournament mg $89 on eBay from American legacy fishing. 14lbs of drag 10BB aluminum frame little bigger spool and handle awesome reels for $89. I've ordered two and had no problems so no need to be afraid to order.

I second the lews. I have one in a 7.1 on my worm rod and want a few more when budget allows.

Gander mtn has a lews tournament SK for 99$. Its probably just a store specific model but is still has dual brakes and the extended length handle. Almost considered one for me.

The Tournament MG is great reel. This reel flew under the radar for while, but its an absolute workhorse with a magnetic braking system. I don't know how and why this is but my reel has become smoother over time. This will be my 4th season with mine. The only thing I would do different with my reel is replacing the stock handle with a 90mm HawgTech.
