cadman Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Can someone tell me how big in diameter are the JJ's Magic Dip bottles. I have a tray made for Spike-It bottles, and I don't know if the JJ's bottles will fit in this tray. Thanks in advance. Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted March 13, 2015 Super User Posted March 13, 2015 If your tray doesn't work out you could try Tupperware, I just lay all mine in a Tupperware container that has a towel inside it... Quote

bassguytom Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I always dip my baits in the garage and put into bags right before a fishing trip. I don't have to worry about spills that way. 3 Quote
LApanic Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 May seem ghetto, but I just take a small rag, fold and roll around the bottle and rubberband it. Keep the glass from breaking and the rag soaks up any over drips and can use for cleanup etc. 4 Quote

I keep the bottles wrapped in small rags inside of an index card box from target. Works perfectly. 1 Quote
Blues19 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I have 3 bottles. one is inside a thermos with a washcloth wrapped around the inside so it doesnt break. It works really well cause it will keep it from getting super hot. I have the other 2 inside an index card box, wrapped in washcloths. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted March 17, 2015 Super User Posted March 17, 2015 I just put the bottle inside a ziploc baggie and toss it in the soft plastics backpack. It's a good thing that I love the smell of JJ's even in the car and the basement.....lol I'm always careful to ensure that backpack isn't left in the car during the summer....but even still, the car smells fairly garlicky from March through Thanksgiving.....come to think of it, I'm missing that smell in there about now....time to break it out 1 Quote
LApanic Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Does everyone pretty much order from TW or JJs site? There based out of GA and even though I'm in AL. The only place I can walk in and buy is at Walmart at Lake Eufaula Quote

LApanic Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 How many lures tips could you potentially dye with a bottle of jj's fromTW? 576 .25" dips! JK bud. I keep clear, chartreuse and methyolate. Clear runs out quicker because I dumk that plastic pretty deep. Chartreuse will last a good bit longer than SpikeIt mainly because JJs don't need nearly as much application and the scent last longer. Also it's a bigger bottle than spike it I think. And methyolate Ive got a half of bottle left and bought it 2-3 years ago. Just use it mainly in Prespawn to give green pumpkin that red craw accent Quote
harmon Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 The yellow water tight plano box are perfect for JJ's Majic the bottles will not tip over in the box because they just fit. I also keep a rag in there. This is by far the best way I have come up with and once you seal it shut you will never get any odor or leakage. 1 Quote
