I'm Scott from Centennial (Denver Metro), CO. I haven't been out fishing in a few years and was never very active when I did fish. My experience is limited to catching a few pan fish. The plan for the 2015 season which starts April 1st in Colorado is to be a more active fisherman.  I plan to get out at least once a week to fish. I plan to move pass the pan fish and start hunting Bass and Trout. I need to get a whole new setup and learn the tricks and tips from the experience bass fishermen.

Thank you,

Scott

Scott,

Welcome aboard.  Best advice I can offer is to join a local bass club.  Just google "bass clubs denver" and you should have a few to choose from.

The advantage of a club is you will get to fish as a "non-boater" from the back of an experienced anglers boat.  Pay attention, ask questions, and learn lots of new techniques.  Plus you (normally) get to meet new friends with the same interests.

Good luck and tight lines!
