I was able to pick up these four rods recently and I'm looking for some reels to pair them with!

Falcon Bucoo 7' MH

Falcon Bucoo 6'10" H

Falcon Bucoo 6"10" H

Quantum KVD 6'6" MH

I want to pick up at least two reels this weekend from BPS, anyone have any suggestions to pair up with these rods? Looking to spend around $150-200 per rod, but was thinking about a few BPS PQ's.

Looking for baitcasting reels

Appreciate any help and I look forward to posting her more!

Might want to give a price range. There are a TON of great reels out there. Its kind of depending on what you want to spend.

I knew I forgot to mention something.

I'm down to spend $150-200 per.

Maybe a few BPS PQ's as well

Baitcasters or spinning?

Baitcasting, I edited the initial post with this info.

My choice, Curado 1. However, I am a life long member of the Shimano gang.

You are going to get a lot of answers on this one, and every single option you have will serve you will. Lots of great reels in this range. If you want to save some money you can buy your reels online. I picked up a Curado I for $144, retail $179

I figured as much. I spent quite a bit of time searching this forum, and notice that this was the usual answer. I guess I got over whelmed and decided to see if anyone could make it easy for me lol.

First, welcome to the forums!

Second, it is hard to go wrong (IMHO) with

Shimano. I absolutely love my Chronarch 50e

reels.

But there are plenty here that will sound off in

the positive about Diawa's Tatula reels, Lew's

reels, Quantum, and others.

So my best advice, if it is possible for you, is to

head to your local Bass Pro -- or if other sporting

goods store call and ask if they do this -- and take

your rod(s) in and ask to try several different reels

on them to see how they balance out and "feel"

to your hands.

I may love Shimano and sing their praises, but you

might take a deeper liking to a Pflueger, or a Diawa.

I can also give a positive nod to the Tatula. Depending on how you "palm" the reel, you may or may not like it.

I suggest to skip buying all your reels at bps and go to ebay and grab at least a couple of lews tourney pros for around $150 or less each

Ditto ......other reels feel cheap and pathetic when compared to my Lews reels IMO
