MO_LMB Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I will be in Orlando next week and I plan on bringing my Scanoe and small 4 hp with me to try and go fishing a few days. I contemplated going on Toho, but I feel like my rig may be a little small for a lake of that size. Could someone recommend a smaller lake in the area that has some good fishing, and hopefully a boat ramp of some sort where I could launch my canoe? I appreciate any help you guys/gals could provide. Shanes7614 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Check the Kissimee chain of lakes. If you don't want to fish the actual lakes you can fish the canals that run between them. Great fishing as well as in those lakes. Quote
Pz3 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Lake underhill and ivanhoe all day. Might not find 10lbers but the fishing is great. Quote
FloridaFishinFool Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I'll second Lake Ivanhoe and Baldwin lake also fit that description too. Quote
Pz3 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Baldwin would be a good choice. Real clear water and probably a little less pressured. Quote
Under the Radar Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 All the above Plus the Winter Park Chain. Underhill has been doing good, Baldwin is a little off, maybe i'll hit winter park chain today and let you know. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted March 19, 2015 Super User Posted March 19, 2015 Lake Underhill. Not the most pristine environment but chock-full of bass Roger Quote
