Lacustrine Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I am looking for a new reel for my Duckett Micro Magic 7' medium action, fast taper rod. Has any used any Duckett 320/360 reels? What are your thoughts? Any other reel suggestions? Trying to keep under $200. Quote
KnifeGuy Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I have really enjoyed my Lew's BB1-Pro's. They normally cost $200, which I think is very reasonable. And to make matters better they and several other Lew's reels are on sale here- http://www.sportsmansoutfitters.com/lews-bb1-pro-speed-spool-series-baitcast-fishing-reel/ Quote
Lacustrine Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 I like that reel. Thanks for the link. How is Lews customer service and warranty? Quote
ABW Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I just got a Curado I and haven't been able to fish it yet, but it feels amazing to me. I'm sure it'll perform well too. Quote

ABW Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 200 I? Yup. It was super smooth right out of the box. Smoother than my Lew's Tournament Pro Quote
hoosierhawghunter Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I have a new curado 200 on my 7'm duckett micro magic pro rod. I haven't messed with it much, but it does feel pretty darn good. I just got my exos in the mail today, and put one on a duckett rod i have... and i like it better because they are amazingly lightweight. But if you want to stay under 200 id recommend the curado. If you don't have a nice really low profile reel on the ducketts they feel kinda weird. Hopefully this helps. Quote
