I'm heading down to table rock soon in Missouri. I couldn't find a topic on it so I was just wondering if anyone had fished their recently and how was it?

My boat is out of commission for now. (Needs carbs cleaned big time.), and I just moved back up to these parts, but I would imagine its prime wiggle wart time on the rock. If I was out there I'd start at the main lake points and hop points and transitions till I made it to the back of a creek then pattern my way around the rest of the lake throwing a jig and jerkbait here and there.

Go to http://forums.ozarkanglers.com/and check out what those guys have to say.

Good info at Ozark Anglers.com  website. Good info from locals there.

That's where I go for my info when I'm heading to the Rock. Guides that have fished that lake for 20-30 years post detailed reports. I can tell you what I do when I'm down there, but I can't touch what someone who fishes it every day can tell you. It's just getting to the best time of year to be down there IMO.

As far as I am concerned, Anytime is the best time to be there

This I agree with, unfortunately I can only get there about once a year.  My annual trip this year is April 7-12.  Can't wait!

I'm headed down there this weekend to my girlfriends grandparents house, unfortunately I won't be able to bring my boat but they have a little Jon boat I hope to get out on. Hopefully I'll have some positive feedback and pictures!

Hopefully it stays that way for another few weeks. We're staying at Mill Creek Resort the 17-21 of April.

I was out for a couple of hours the other day to make sure the boat was running well after some work and to see how well my new graph was working. When I got to the ramp some guy told me no one was catching anything, but I never get too concerned with boat-ramp fishing reports. The lake was really muddy due to all the rain they have gotten, and we didn't have time to run very far up the lake. We were up at Cape Fair in the James River arm and we were not going to outrun the mud and the floating timber. Only took a couple of rods, and actually didn't do too bad with a drop shot and then a Wiggle Wart. Nothing special, but they kept me busy.
