Hello everybody

New to forum. Can anybody please, please help me. I want to buy a fish finder/ sonar and I'm nor sure which one. I want gps,finder and chat plotter. My budget is 7 to 8 hundred. Any body help. I have been looking at the lowrance units

I have the Lowrance elite 5 hdi combo without CHIRP and like it very much.  The Humingbired Onix looks real good too.

Those sights kept me busy for a while.

859 series Humminbird. The standard and DI units are both within your budget.  If you can squeeze out a few extra bucks, you can get an 899 side imaging unit for around $850

If you can squeek out just a bit more, you can get a Lowrance HDS 7 Gen2 Touch for $900 with rebates now. They are really nice units and with their rebate right now, you can get it with the LSS-2 transducer so you will have side and down imaging.
