To fish one type of lure "exclusively", means you are severely limiting your fish catching potential.

I will admit, that I prefer to fish plastics, but even more than that, I want to catch fish. I will throw

whatever it takes to "git 'er done". I despise using multi-hooked baits, {crankbaits}, but if that's what

it takes,.... so be it. In order I prefer,

Plastics:

Spinnerbaits:

Jigs:

:

Crankbaits.

Hootie

Agree 100%

Right now we are in full on pre-spawn, Rat-L-Traps/Spinner Baits are #1/#2 but I aint put my worm rod away. Instead I just pick up the tempo & fish a Texas Rig faster with something with a lot of tail action; lake a cutR worm.

My list will be

Plastics

Jigs

& every thing else

Never tried a Hootie though ;)

I use to throw soft plastics and jigs probably 75 % of the time. Now it would be closer to 25 % . This year , who knows. Lures get hot and cold with me.

Quite the opposite. I throw hard baits 85 percent of the time.

X2. Not patient enough to slowly crawl a Texas rig. However, I love fishing weightless Senkos, just because they catch so many fish.

I fish almost all soft plastics. I mean I throw rattle traps, rooster tails, and crank baits and chatter baits. But besides the rooster tails they have never produced for me so I mainly throw soft plastics. Anyone else out there?

Pretty much the same for me.

Soft plastics are just more productive for

me, and I'm out there for fun and enjoyment,

not tournaments, so I tend to stay with what

works for me...

I will fish other lures though.

...Sometimes I get jealous of the guys who have clean lakes to fish a nd don't fish the slop constantly...

Ironically, those who fish fairly clean lakes would kill to have some visible slop to target... :)

I fish mainly ponds. I use all sorts of plastics from worms to Craws to creatures to swimbaits etc. I go Trigged, jigs, drop shot, and weightless. I have some frogs, spinnerbaits, Crankbaits, and poppers for certain conditions but 90% plastics. Just sold some crankbaits and jerkbaits on eBay.

I use to fish plastics about 90% of the time. Now it is about 60% of the time. Sometimes the bass just bite better when they can chase something.

Most of my fishing is on a pressured POS lake just off campus, so I thrown mainly shakeyheads, wacky rigs, t-rigs and sometime weightless senkos. I'd say probably 80% if we don't included black buzzbaits when I night fish.
