Weld's Largemouth Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Good luck getting a Hudd Gill for less than $50 once spawn does come. ; ) Haha yea. Its okay. I always have my shakeyhead
Super User rippin-lips Posted March 27, 2015 Super User Posted March 27, 2015 I'm not fond of "flippers". For the most part they're not good for swimbait fishing. ^^^ this X 100,000,000 Flippers should take a long walk off a short cliff! I've been amazed at how people in the swimbait world pull together to help someone in need. It's a brotherhood and sadly there are people who just want to make money off of a bait. I sold my extra gill for cost to someone who didn't get in on the pre order. I could of made profit on it by putting it on eBay but that's not my thing. I'm preaching to the choir though. People will continue to flip for money and not bat an eye. 4

I don't see myself as a "flipper"; I dont buy large quantites and sell them to make huge profit. If I can make a little extra cash, especially since I do not have a job, It seems probable to me.
Super User Master Bait'r Posted March 27, 2015 Super User Posted March 27, 2015 ^^^ this X 100,000,000 Flippers should take a long walk off a short cliff! People will continue to flip for money and not bat an eye. Super annoying trend. Drives the cost way up, and it's why I was setting alarms etc for the gill drop while I was welding in a frozen hole on the side of a mountain- I knew I couldn't hang once the flip began. I really hate that. You've got guys who had no intention of fishing it lining up just to fleece those who did and I don't like that. It's fkn expensive enough! Go get a job if you need money lol
Super User rippin-lips Posted March 27, 2015 Super User Posted March 27, 2015 ^^^ I very much agree. Especially that last line. I know if I didn't have a job I wouldn't be buying a $30 hudd gills,$300 reels, or a 1,000 kayak.
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted March 27, 2015 Super User Posted March 27, 2015 I understand the concept of supply and demand. I understand making a couple bucks off a hard to source bait. I can even understand buying a hard to source bait, fishing it and deciding it's not for you. What I don't understand is your cavalier attitude while not having a job and buying a bait you had ZERO intentions to fish. That's beat man. 2
Super User J Francho Posted March 27, 2015 Super User Posted March 27, 2015 Me niether, and it's not what we're about here at Bass Resource. In fact, there are rules AGAINST this in our Flea Market.
