What are the best brand and size for rigging 5 inch senkos and dingers?

I use 2/0 gamakatsu finesse wide gap hooks. I like that size but I know a lot of guys go really small.

Everyone is going to have their own preferences on what brand and size to use. I use Gamakatsu because I can pick them up at Walmart and they have never let me down. I like the finesse wide gap in 1/0 2/0 but I'll also use an EWG in 1/0 2/0 3/0

I've used mosquito style and plain circle hooks in open water and for that size bait a 2/0 works for me.

I actually use baitholder hooks (in larger sizes) left over from my live baiting days. The barbs on the shank help hold the worm, and they have a great hookup ratio. I don't mind EWG either but find that I prefer the baitholders. They're really cheap, too, and you get a lot.

There are a lot of excellent hooks out there for wacky

rigging.

I have personally settled on either the Gammy Wide Gap

Finesse 1/0 or Gammy Split/drop shot hooks from 1-2/0.
