Hey guys is the J knot ok for putting a fc leader onto braid? Ill be using 10 lb braid and a 10lb leader. I know some knots dont work with fc so I wanted to check. thanks!

I don't really know - learned the Alberto and never looked back.

J-knot is a very good knot for connecting the two. Only slightly less strong than the modified Albright/Alberto, both of which though test much stronger (~20%) than the uni-uni. Pick whichever one you tie best and go with it.

Probably as good as gets.  I use it for both leaders of all types as well as adding to my mainline.

The FG/FJ/ whatever else people call it knot is undoubtedly the strongest and thinnest, but it is a bit of a fiddle to tie. Once you've got it down you can tie it in 2 or 3 minutes, so it's not a quick one but I've never ever had the line break at the knot. Ever.
