hi there... heading down to reelfoot for a week from canada in a couple weeks bass fishing...

wanted to get a feel for the community and maybe some advice on canoeing (and fishing) respectfully in the area (ie - ponds and watershed lakes) also, should i postpone my trip?

it's scheduled for march 14 - 21...

do you think this might bode well with the bass?

thanks

btw - feel free to use me as a resource if anyone is coming up to ontario, canada for musky or pike fishing...

or anything else, generally...

I dont know how the fishing will be but Reelfoot is quite the experience   . Super shallow , stumps all over. I fished it once in May an it was difficult. You should be getting there at peak crappie time.

Welcome.

Welcome to the forums!  Water temps here in TN are still low 40's and the fishing has yet to pick up.  But if you are just lucky, you have a chance at a good one this time of year.  Reelfoot is very shallow and covered with Willow tree knees and stumps.  The water looks good everywhere.  Makes it hard to fish sometimes!
