Super User flyfisher Posted March 4, 2015 Super User Posted March 4, 2015 So obviously this is a move that nobody predicted. Since Kelly has had success without his own players I am gonna give him the benefit of the doubt on this one through next season. The Eagles now have about half of their cap free and lost a key part of the offense but with a healthy offensive line they can pick up a RB that will still be good enough for his system. Now if he manages to sign a big time FA like a Suh and then resign Maclin and get Mariota, things will look good for the birds. Then with al that cap money a guy like Houston would be within reach next year too.....at least i hope that is how it all works out Quote
Super User Darren. Posted March 4, 2015 Super User Posted March 4, 2015 Yeah, I almost posted this a while ago. But I've been digesting it ever since. Have to see what the Bills will do (or not do) with regard to his contract (or new contract). He might dig his heels in on this trade. But don't know if he has much choice. Last time the Bills had Marshawn Lynch. He didn't want to be in Buffalo. And look what he's done since. All that said, Chip gets one he** of a linebacker in Kiko. Whom he knows well. The dude can ball, that's for sure. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted March 4, 2015 Super User Posted March 4, 2015 Say goodbye to Trent Cole too Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted March 4, 2015 Author Super User Posted March 4, 2015 they freed up about 55M in cap space with 31M of it pretty much yesterday. They must have really lowballed Cole too because he said he was willing to restructure and take less money and he doesn't want to play anywhere else. What scares me is that we play the Bills this year too...Shady is going to go off. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 4, 2015 Super User Posted March 4, 2015 The NFC East just got better, lol. Quote
