Google Guntersville Fishing Reports. There are several that pop up with the most

current information.  Also, If you are interested in a guide look up Spinnerbait Kid.

I posted this same question a month ago. I'm heading down there on the 18th. for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks down there last year and two guides, it became apparent to me that at this time of year it's all about weather. However, most of the fish we caught were on Excaliber XR50's in "Royal Shad", Chart/white 1/2 oz.spinnerbaits and T-rigged 8" pumpkin majic 8" zoom lizards. Have a great trip.

Yesterdays bag on Guntersville.  27+ lbs.  I would stick with just lipless ripping out of grass if I were you!

Impressive fish, which end of the lake were you fishing

Other than tecnique, my buddies didn't tell me anything else.  Sorry.  I do know they fished 4 days and their worst sack was 23lbs.  They were on the fish for sure!

If the water is anything like Pickwick- Yes.  Muddy with the rain and snow runoff.  Also pulling a ton of current.  Usually a good time to fish, but water clarity is tough right now.  Only time I have ever been skunked on Pickwick was last Sunday

The weather this week is going to be right but I think it's suppose to rain some more Thursday then Fri thru Wed is going to be dry and in the 60's... This is West Tn weather I'm sure it's the same

It has rained here all week and it will be raining Saturday as well. I know the pattern has been throwing red cranks or rattle baits. Now the water temp should be up 10 or so degrees from the last week of Feb when it was 41-43 degree. On the 4th we did ok fishing ledges next to the channel. I am wondering what you guys think will happen if the water is upper 40's and dirty? Thanks!

Amazing place to fish anytime.  Went twice last year.  First trip was in Mid March and we whacked em.  24-1 was our best daily 5  during the week but we had over 20 solid fish everyday all week long.  Crankbaits, jerkbaits and lipless cranks were our best baits.  9lbs 8oz was our biggest bass.  Youtube video posted by my son.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWrS4axswLo  his editing was great because I must have spent the whole week running for the net and I am the one that caught the 9-8  :-)  I went back down Good Friday Weekend and really struggled catching them post spawn. only caught 9 total all weekend.  So for me I would go NOW regardless of the rain.  I have to wait for a couple more weeks.  We are going to fish for 6 days before marshaling for the Elites.  They may hit the spawning activity perfect this year.

Looks like you taught your son well. Either that or he edited you out on purpose except for the toad.

Slonez is that PB personal best? If so wow!

I'm not seeing PB. BB is big bass weighed. One of the guys from my club caught an 11.2 in practice. They're in the top 15 right now
