Super User *Hootie Posted March 1, 2015 Super User Posted March 1, 2015 Just picked some up at Field and Stream yesterday. They must be competing with the Havoc baits. Craws, Beaver style, worms, etc. Packs of 8 baits, most $2.99. The beavers are $3.49. Hootie Quote
ib_of_the_damned Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Just picked up their Drop Shot specific line of baits. The Killshot, Sharpshooter, and Warning Shot. They all look awesome and I cannot wait to see how they perform. The Killshot and Warning Shot both resemble the Jackall Cross Tail Shad with the round body and flat bottom. The Sharpshooter looks like a finesse worm with a cut tail/flat tail that looks like it would produce some good action. Ill let you guys know how it goes when I test them out. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted March 1, 2015 Super User Posted March 1, 2015 I thought they looked good when I saw them at walmart. I have a lot of confidence in their baits, and lowering the price doesn't hurt me a bit. Quote
fishinphilly Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 i actually have been eyeing them up for a while and today i placed a pretty big order from straight from yumbaits.com mainly because i needed to fill up on beavers and they have the yum wooly bug for $2.99 for an 8 pack 4 1/4 inches can't beat that Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted March 2, 2015 Super User Posted March 2, 2015 Can't wait to get my hands on their version of the swim senko. While I love the swim senko, it is really pricey for a soft plastic is fragile. Now Yum just needs to come out with it in smoke purple. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 2, 2015 Global Moderator Posted March 2, 2015 I saw some of them at Academy the other day. They look like really good baits, especially at that price point. Good to see companies taking cues from other companies offering more affordable baits to the average Joe. I love fishing the premium baits when I can, but why waste a Senko when they're chewing and eating any plastic that lands in front of them? Quote
pbizzle Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I posted a write up of a few I found at Academy when they first came out. I'm glad to see that they're getting into more stores. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/148804-found-some-really-cool-new-yum-baits-today-at-academy/ Quote
tater555 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 That craw (right side) in the pic has been an awesome jig and chatterbait trailer for me this winter. I stumbled upon them at Walmart one day looking for a black and blue jig trailer, and they were the only thing that fit the bill. I like the action that those claws give off, and they Make a little bit smaller profile than a rage craw. Quote
