tater555 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Hey guys, I found the daiwa lexa rods on sale at gm for $49.99 and picked up a 7'2" mh-r (moderate) and have not found any reviews on this particular rod, and very few on the whole lexa series of rods. So I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with any of them and would like to see what yall thought. Thanks in advance, Tater Quote
PitchinJigz Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I don't have any comments on it but I've been looking at the 7'2" ML/ F DropShot Rod. $50 for a Lexa Rod is a sweet deal. Quote
tater555 Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 That's what I was thinking, I have been looking for a cranking rod anyways and when I saw that I couldn't pass it up. If it's anywhere close to how the tatula rods felt I will be perfectly happy with it. Quote
tater555 Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 Nobody actually has one of these? I reckon I need to post a review on it once I get it and fish it a little bit. Quote
Turtle135 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Just saw this post and I have two of the 7' Medium-Heavy casting rods (and a 6'6" spinning rod). On the casting rods I like the sensitivity for jig fishing and that handle feels perfect in my hand (some casting rods have handles that are too thin for me). I do not use spinning rods very much but that 6'6" one is my favorite. You found these at "gm"? Please do tell what gm is because at that price I would pickup a couple more! Quote
tater555 Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 That's good to hear! And I was referring to gander mountain, you even get a $10 e gift card when you buy the rod but it says you don't get it until 4 or 5 days after you recieve the rod. I wish I would have had the money for a couple more! 1 Quote
Turtle135 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Thanks tater555! Although you just cost me $ 100.00! Quote
kschultz76 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I'm curious too, ordered of the 7'2" MH/R for cranks as well. I needed a second crank rod and have a spare reel. The price was too good not to try. I've been debating picking up two others but then I have to guy by reels and expand my rod rack. But these will be great for guests no spares. Quote
lecisnith Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I was surfing the GM mobile site yesterday and a glitch had them as buy one/get one. Which got me really excited. They changed it after a half hour, though. Wonder how many people tried to get THAT deal just to be disappointed. Quote
tater555 Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 I didn't see that but I'm glad I didn't! I would have spent every dime I had on them and sold the ones I didn't like haha Kschultz76 when you checked out did it happen to show you when the rod would come off of backorder and ship out? Or did you order while they were still in stock? Quote
kschultz76 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Just showed back order, no indication of an expected ship date. Quote
