The re-released Berkley Iron Silk is an excellent line for this kind of work. Quote

I like 12-15lb fluorocarbon depending on where and what I'm fishing. Quote

But I honestly throw most of my shallow cranks on my medium spinning rod lol ... And I have a crankbait rod on an e7... Just like it more for jerkbaits and deep cranking Quote
