Super User clayton86 Posted February 28, 2015 Super User Posted February 28, 2015 I normally don't like large crowds but I bought my GF tickets to go see Bush for Valentin's day. The concert was last night it was Stars in stereo which I've never heard of and then theory of a deadman and bush. I like theory and bush also but bush is her favorite band. All in all it wasn't a bad night had to have a few beers to take the edge off of the crowd and get me to relax a little bit had a good time all three bands where pretty good live bush opened with everything zen which was sweet they played a mix of older and their new stuff same with theory but they mostly did their old stuff and only one new song. Theory played Angel off their new album which I downloaded and liked it live much better then the iTunes version. This was the first concert Ive been to since I was in high school I seen 3 doors down 12 years ago. What's some of the recent concerts you guys have been to Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted February 28, 2015 Super User Posted February 28, 2015 Last concert I was at was a little over a year ago. Saw Rob Zombie in a 900 person venue in DC called 9:30 Club. He always puts on a great show, seeing him at this small venue was outstanding. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted February 28, 2015 Author Super User Posted February 28, 2015 Yeah this was a small venue also we showed up late in the first show and were able to go right up front row. The gf loved it but then I had to hear how hot Gavin rosdale is the whole ride home Quote
lecisnith Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 My last show was the Orion Music and More Festival. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica (two sets), Dropkick Murphys, Rise Against, Deftones, among others. My brother is a local DJ and got free VIP tickets so we had free lunch, booze, private seating. Two days of awesome. Two years ago this summer on Belle Isle in Detroit. Quote
Dyerbassman Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Last one for me was Tomahawk in Chicago. Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted February 28, 2015 Super User Posted February 28, 2015 Eric church puts on a good show Quote
Dylcook91 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 My last concerts of the last few years, Tool - known for unbelievable shows, with amazing lighting...hands down best show I've ever been to. I can't wait for more to come around. Puscifer - saw them twice a few months apart...its a side project of the front man from Tool. Again great show but in smaller concert halls and different type of crowd. Kyuss - NYC, front row...amazing Alice in chains - awesome show lucked out and got front row, unfortunately the greats of the band are no longer alive. Quote

I thought that Kyuss weren't touring as Kyuss for a long, long time. I saw them at Orion as Vista Chino since it was sans Josh Homme. Really want to see Puscifer. A lot. 1 Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted February 28, 2015 Super User Posted February 28, 2015 Tony Bennett was the last show I saw. Legend. Quote
wnybassman Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Primus in Rochester a few months back. I try to see Les any time he is nearby. Hoping Duo de Twang swings by close. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted March 1, 2015 Super User Posted March 1, 2015 I have the distinct pleasure of being serenated by "The Pawz Pack" everyday - usually more than once. And I don't have to go anywhere . . . . A-Jay http://youtu.be/ktXcP2rcuuI Quote
Smokinal Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 After years and years of seeing tons of shows, the last 2 were pretty special for me. First, I took my 16 yr old son to Judas Priest Epitaph tour at the Tsongas Center on U Mass campus. The Priest is both of our favorite groups and to have him see them for the last time for us both was a very special night. And second, last year I got the opportunity to go on the tour bus with Jeff Keith, front man, and Troy Luccketta, drums, from Tesla. Long story, but my sister's Mother In Law is good friends with Troy so we got to hang out with them before the show; their manager walked us to the sound booth before the show to hang from there; and of course the after show party with the rest of the band. Great night! Kinda bummed the pics were not great but they still remind me of a good time. 1 Quote

Sometime after I saw the show Homme filed a lawsuit and sued the band for using the name. That was the last tour, they now have basically dissolved. Next time Puscifer is on tour see them...you will not be disappointed. Quote

Allegedly, a coworker of mine know Maynard, so I'll be able to meet him, which could cause my head to explode. 1 Quote

A perfect circle is his only band to allude me so far. They put out a live DVD a couple years back, its on YouTube just search stone and echo if you haven't seen it yet. I watched it about 1000 times. If your coworker is for real, im coming along just sayin haha. My coworkers haven't even heard of Tool. Quote
