nocellcontracts Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I'm looking for Strike King square bills (silent) in a color called Sexy Lavender Shad. Here's a sample of the color, but I need it in a square bill. Do you guys know where I can find them? If not, do you know another brand that has a similar paint job? Thanks. Quote
HookdUP Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I believe bling 55s may come in a similar color in Japan but then again it's a flat sided squarebill and not very big so ... Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted February 28, 2015 Super User Posted February 28, 2015 Bill Norman Fat Boy has a lavender shad bait, get yourself a quick coat lure marker in chartreuse, not a sharpie or spike-it dye, and add a small chartreuse stripe and then you have sexy lavender shad. Quick coat lure markers are actual paint, they have a ball inside and you shake it just like a rattle can of paint, they come with 6 different felt tips so you can get the right width of line you want, you put the felt tip in and then press down and hold for 5 second lift up and then repeat 1 time and you'll see the paint begin to flow into the tip. I think they are fantastic because it is permanent because it is paint but the pain is you have to shake for 30 seconds or so but they are worth it. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted February 28, 2015 Super User Posted February 28, 2015 Every time I am looking for a funky Strike King color I run to my nearest BassPro. They tend to have SK colors no one else has. Quote
MichiganBass80 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Think this is the right one. Right column, 5th row down. Looks the same, chartreuse shad with lavender back. what you looking for 1.0,1.5,2.5s? 1.5: http://www.fishermensheaven.com/shop/proddetail.php?prod=Strike-King-Crankbaits-Square-Bill-KVD-1.5-Silent-Fishing-Lures 2.5s: http://www.fishermensheaven.com/shop/proddetail.php?prod=Strike-King-Crankbaits-Square-Bill-KVD-2.5-Silent-Fishing-Lures Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted February 28, 2015 Super User Posted February 28, 2015 If all else fails . . . . . Step A - score some cranks in the weight, size, bill style, etc. that you like ( who cares about color at this point) Step B - Send them to Hughes Custom Painted Baits in Reed Springs, MO. The guy is an artist who can paint any color scheme you want. Check out his web site. They won't exactly be cheap, but you'll have exactly the color scheme you want. Quote
