I am going to try a new type of fishing this year and that is swim baits. I am looking for some recommendations on a reel for throwing swim baits. Thanks

What type, weight etc.? Brian.

I have a rod that is rated for 1-4 oz swimbaits and at the current moment I have a couple hard body swimbaits

Any Shimano you can afford that will work.

How's the new Shimano CuradoI? I was looking at one of the older curado 300

Plum is a Shimano man. I'm a Lew's man. I'm not an expert in this fishing style, but I've seen a lot of people using the Lew's heavy duty for it. Not what I'd choose, but different strokes for different folks.
