As the topic states what's your fav rod for 250 or over. Let's stay in reason and not say a megabass destroyer phrase 3 or something.

Price based off of retail pricing or what you can find on sale or used?

For me it would be the Orochi XX EMTF if we are talking full retail price

I like my Megabass destroyer but in your price range Id try one of the Megabass xx rods. I have the Perfect Pitch and its a nice stick.

I have two....St Croix Legend Extreme 6'8" m/XF spinning (recoil guides version). Amazing soft plastics rod, love fishing weightless senkos on it. Second would be the Megabass Orochi XX, and while I just got it I think it's the Diablo Spec R, it just has that "it" factor and its apparent already it will serve a lot of purposes very well.

But in that price range I would highly recommend St Croix Legend Elite or Extreme rods if you like more conservative/traditional domestic sticks. If you like are interested in something different with that JDM look and really versatile performance I highly recommend the Orochi XX.

Loomis GLX BCR874 I love this rod, on a cheaper note, I think the *** heavy/fast has a similar stiffer tip, which reminds me of the glx and I like that rigidity over a softer tip...

My favorite, too. Mine is matched with a Core 50Mg and Tatsu #15.

This is my dedicated rod for swim jigs and soft swimbaits.
