Hogsticker Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 This is what I've picked up over the winter. I have a 2nd Shimano box full of jerkbaits, and two more Planos full of flat sides, square bills, and more traps. 1 Quote
papajoe222 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Took this pic of the ones i keep in the boat. Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted February 26, 2015 Super User Posted February 26, 2015 Not really "rare," but old school and somewhat expensive. Some of my Bagley Diving Bs, the large majority of which are older brass wire/lead tuning bill lures. -T9 1 Quote
War Eagle 44 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 This one falls into the "just gets bit" category. I'm pretty sure this is the single hard bait that I've caught the most fish on, ever. Still have it, still going strong and catching more fish. I didn't do the best job of showing all the teeth marks that are actually on this bait but you still get the general idea. 3 Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted February 27, 2015 Super User Posted February 27, 2015 Not many rare ones in this box but I have a few more boxes besides the ones in the pic. I'll try to get some pics up soon. 3 Quote
plumworm Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I have 2, a pre Rapala wiggle wart in a weird brown/green/red color and a 90's #200 bandit in almost the same color (little less red) I only fish them when I know I won't snag, but they are my all time "catcher cranks" Quote
fisherrw Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I never new that. Good thing I never hold them like that. Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted February 27, 2015 Super User Posted February 27, 2015 These are more sentimental than anything. Upper left: first balsa bait, purchased in '81. lower left and upper right: baits given to me by the two guys that Introduced me to bass fishing. lower right: A crankbait that caught me 7 bass on It's very first trip. It was also given to me by one of the two guys that started me In bass fishing. I fished with It for several more years and one day thought about the history and never got It wet again. It proudly hangs In the fishing closet. 1 Quote
Slefler Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Not many rare ones in this box but I have a few more boxes besides the ones in the pic. I'll try to get some pics up soon. I want those dang boxes! 1 Quote

Super User kickerfish1 Posted March 6, 2015 Super User Posted March 6, 2015 Outside of the eyes, price, and years of production, are there any other differences among the standard and straight eye 110s? Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted March 6, 2015 Super User Posted March 6, 2015 Outside of the eyes, price, and years of production, are there any other differences among the standard and straight eye 110s?The rattles are different and the old ones were built under pressure and are supposed to be a lot more durable. I personaly think they are like pre raps and are a lot of hype. Both catch fish but some of the old ones sell for crazy money. I'm looking for a Pro Blue to add to my collection. The last one I bid on sold for $225. Quote
