My dad and I got to fish Okeechobee on Monday, it was my second time on the lake and we had a blast! Won't be doing any fishing up in New Hampshire for awhile and this really got my bass juices flowing again... Can't wait til spring!

Beautiful Lake O fish NE!! It's nice to hear from you again. I haven't seen you post for a while. Great job!!

I know! I had been getting all my college stuff done and what not and now I'm in my last semester of high school so I've finally got time to come back on!

NIce fish!  What seemed to be the bait of choice?

We were throwing some big golden shiners for a little bit, but went on to artificials which I prefer... The biggest one there (6.5) was caught on a spinnerbait but  I did get a bite on a shiner that would have definitely been a PB but she shook the hook... We did do some flipping as well and that only generated one bite, spinnerbait caught lots of quality fish...

Congrats on a great job on the O. Those are some really good looking fish. Did you hire a guide, or go it alone out there? What section of the lake did you fish? Congrats again!
