Super User roadwarrior Posted February 25, 2015 Super User Posted February 25, 2015 When this chick was pretending to be "Country" I could not stand anything about the girl. Well, now that she's "Pop" she has produced some interesting music. This is THE BOMB! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CmadmM5cOk
Super User F14A-B Posted February 25, 2015 Super User Posted February 25, 2015 I didn't care for her either, but my daughter did.. I had to behave myself,.. most of the time! I always thought she was a poser.
Super User A-Jay Posted February 25, 2015 Super User Posted February 25, 2015 I am not a fan of any of her music - which is OK as I don't exactly feel like her target audience either. However, the woman has chosen to do a lot good things for a lot of people. So that's one in her favor. A-Jay 1

We are too old and the wrong gender, but this particular tune I think is "catchy". Neither my wife or daughter are fans either, so when they said I was in for a surprise they were right!
Super User gardnerjigman Posted February 25, 2015 Super User Posted February 25, 2015 She isn't my flavor of music, but you are right... It's not bad, and probably HER best. My wife and daughters always like to sing a long with her music, and honestly, that's the only reason she gets any ear time in my vehicle.
dave Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 My youngest daughter WAS a fan in the beginning. I kept a low profile. The first time my daughter heard her sing live "un-fixed" by technology, my daughter turned to me and said, "daddy, she's terrible", with a very surprised look on her face. Technology is Taylor's friend...
BasshunterJGH Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 I'm NOT a fan of her music, but heck that was alright. Looks like a got a new "Latest song stuck in my head" lol
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 26, 2015 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 26, 2015 Would be better if Lady Gaga sang it. I can't stand TS. Everything about her just makes me cringe. 2
Super User slonezp Posted February 26, 2015 Super User Posted February 26, 2015 Not a fan of TS RW, If you don't know who Holly Williams is, check her out when you get a chance. She is Hank 3's sister, has a beautiful voice and is nowhere close to pop country.. Too bad she looks a little like her brother.. 2
sprint61 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 You guys know you like Shake it off, atleast just a little? 1

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted February 26, 2015 Global Moderator Posted February 26, 2015 You guys know you like Shake it off, atleast just a little? The video of the LEO getting with it to "Shake it Off", in his patrol car cracks me up every time! She made the right move going to pop, that way I hear less of her when decide to listen to country 1
Cgrinder Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Yeah, that was alright. I mean, I can't listen to death metal all day.
Super User Lund Explorer Posted February 26, 2015 Super User Posted February 26, 2015 If I can offer a little advice, you may wish to adopt my views on this subject. I don't care for country rock, or to pop music, or whatever it is they call most music these days. I look at these "celebrities" and think to myself, which one of them would I be proud to have as a daughter or granddaughter. So if you were posed the question to decide if you would be happier with Taylor or Miley sitting at your dinner table, or who your friends talked about when you weren't around.... Who you going to choose? And for you young pups, which one would your mother want coming home with you for an introduction! 7

Super User Sam Posted February 26, 2015 Super User Posted February 26, 2015 Here is my take on the video: Sexual appeal is excellent for the teens and guys and gals who can't score. Hard to hear the words at times. Great melody. Catchy tune. Good photography and special effects along with great editing. Excellent for the targeted audience. Hope she got a lift home.
Jd_Phillips_Fishin Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I'd rather eat bricks than listen to her.-Gerald Swindle And I am the same way. 1
blackmax135 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 She is very talented but I can't stand her because she started of as a country singer. I get upset when I see these, so called "country music awards" and see what they call country. That's not country and never will be country. My grandfather was a country singer and i am also a country artist and it ticks me off that these people are in the same category as Johnny, George, Merle, and Waylon. Most of the so called country songs now a days are about sitting on a tailgate drinking beer and looking at women. Country music is about the feeling the song puts in you. Sorry I get carried away. Pretty decent song though 1
