Anybody ever use the water or oil from canned tuna to scent their baits.  For the life of me, I can't see why this wouldn't work.  Sure it would stink but I would think in a way that bass would like.  Any thoughts?

I've tried it and only caught celery and onions when I was throwing it in the salad.

Try it in July when it is 90+ in the shade. I'm sure it will work then. Then you can call it fly bait instead of bass bait.

But  what if you caught celery and onions when using it as a scent on a plastic worm?

Not while there's jars of bacon grease in my fridge.   :eyebrows:

I shudder to imagine the smell during those long summer months should TUNA OIL spill in the boat...  Bacon on the other hand, well that's another story!

That's funny!  Just this past weekend I was telling my wife that I might try using the grease from that morning's breakfast bacon like MegaStrike.
