This is the one I use as well.  Very consistent.

Can you tell me which hook you are using to replace it and where  I can buy it?

You can make one out of just about anything.  I made one out of a shower curtain hanger.  You can also buy a hook that holds a paint can onto a ladder.

^ the shower curtain ring is the best.

But seriously, just buy the plastic lip grip and be done with it. They're awesome and cheap and last forever. They cause WAY less damage then trying to shove that scale hook through their mouth.

Many times when I use my fish grip- I never even touch the fish. Grip them, set the grip on the scale hook, release the fish. Can't get more "green" than that.

Its the same set up they use on "ultimate match fishing".

I use a cheap Berkley.  It works perfectly.  I checked the accuracy with various weights and it's on the money.  If I lost it tomorrow I'd buy another one just like it!

I have one also! Accurate to within 0.01lb. Checked it with my check-weight set. Its more accurate than my berkley digital.
