cjam93 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Hey guys I was told about swing impact fats because I fish more stained water. In May I am going to a very clear water lake though. How are the fats in clear water? I love their action I'm just wondering if something a little more subtle would be better? I'll be targeting both small and largemouths Thanks guys! Quote

cjam93 Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Sorry guys I have one more question. I like the Freedom Tackle Hydra Jig head, but would that being a swing head design be a bit much for clear water? I am not very experienced at all to clear water fishing so I am somewhat concerned about having too much action. Quote
Super User Angry John Posted February 22, 2015 Super User Posted February 22, 2015 I use the easy shiners in clear water. The impacts still work just fine Quote
Super User webertime Posted February 22, 2015 Super User Posted February 22, 2015 I've caught fish out of a cup of Saline Solution with Keitechs. 3 Quote
Heron Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I ate one in clear water once - seemed to work fine. Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I've caught fish out of a cup of Saline Solution with Keitechs. Goldfish from the pet store don't count. Only thing I've seen you catch. Quote
aceman387 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I noticed tackle warehouse stocks these in a bunch of different colors. What are some of your favorites for gin clear water ? I would like to pick up some of these for the strip pits i fish. Quote
