skie Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 hello everyone. I'm still on the search for a big game/swimbait reel. i came across the Daiwa lexa 400 which has the specs i was looking for especially for the high capacity part. Does anyone have any experience with them? if so please let me know. Also does the power handle or the regular paddle handle make a difference when you fish or is it just goes by whatever is more comfortable to the angler? Quote
Super User RoLo Posted February 21, 2015 Super User Posted February 21, 2015 Though I don't own the 400, I do have a couple Lexa 100s. They're okay reels, but that's the best I would give the Lexa. Roger Quote

Dogmatic Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I love my lexa 300's for throwing small to mid sized swimbaits. I don't like power handles, but thats personal preference. Gear ratio is an important factor to consider, but the 400 should be more than adequate for most of your swimbait needs. Quote
