Wow 49.99 is impressive. Nice work! I was in the market for a drop shot reel and I have been so impressed with my supreme xt 35 size that I am exclusively a Pflueger spinning reel guy now. I love the thick (but light) bail wire. I picked up a Shimano reel and the bail wire on them seemed so fragile compared to the pfluegers. By NO means am I saying Shimano is a crappy reel lol I don't want to start a war over here. Just my preference

The Sumpreme MGX is a helluva reel. Compared to shimano's in the price range, I personally believe that it will blow them out. Pluefger's are extremely well made and after having it for a month, I can say the quality and durability of my Supreme MGX stands up to the task.

I jumped on that myself!!!! I was going to just wait and see if the XT was going to go a little lower in price but when the MGX went to $60 that was it, I had to act!!
