scorpion xt1000. i found my order and it does have a tracking link but theres no tracking updates or anything. oh well fingers crossed my luck it probably fell out of the plane and is lying on the seabed somewhere

They sent me an email saying that the XT1000 was not in stock and they had to get it from Shimano and it will be shipped on the 17th. It was shipped on the 17th and delivered today and we missed it. They also didn't send me any tracking info. I sent them an email last night wanting to know if the order had been shipped and if it hasn't just go ahead and cancel my order but it had already been shipped on the 17th.

I always pay by PayPal and don't get a confirmation email.  I see robster80 found his order in the JLS system but for those who have also ordered this info might be helpful:

On your PayPal receipt, you should see an Invoice ID number (lower-left corner).  Copy that number then go to this JLS web page:  Orders and Returns

Paste the Invoice ID number into the "Order ID" box, fill out the other info (name/email) - then hit the "CONTINUE" button.  Look around on the next screen and find the link called "TRACKING" - hit that link and you should find the EMS tracking number (assuming that it has been shipped).  You can run that tracking number on the EMS Japan web site - or, after the order has been shipped, it will show up in the USPS tracking system.

.......I've done this before...

Does this mean they will get more Scorpion 200's? I ordered the Curado 200I because the Scorpion was out. I sent an email with no reply and that's been nearly a week. I want that Scorpion for sure.

What was the shipping cost of a reel from there? I hate the "we will tell you after" thing

Usually around $15.00 for me.

Hootie, I lied! It was only a little white lie though. I did place an order for the Scorpion 200 with Japan Tackle but I placed it when Jun and Kayo were on their short vacation. That gave me time to think.......or rethink.......my order. I changed my mind and I bought another XT1000. It's such a sweet little reel that I had to have another. Since then, I bought another Scorpion XT1500-7 to replace the one that I shouldn't have sold and another XT1000. I now have 4 XT1000's. Japan Lure Shop does have a really good price on the Scorpion 200HG and I am seriously considering getting one from them.

John, fishing lies are not only forgiven, they're expected...lol. Anyway, sounds like you're all set and ready to go.

My lake was supposed to open March 6th. Looks like that is out of the question now, the way our stupid weather

has turned around. Two weeks ago water was fine. Now it's froze up tight. Too many sub-zero nights. Oh well, it

will happen when it happens. Que sera sera.

I was considering the 200 I or 1500 xt. Either will do I think.

This is a consideration. I mostly throw willow bladed war eagles so the hg wouldn't be a bad option. And it would also allow me to throw buzzbaits on the same rod... I used high gear ratios for years with blades with great success. .not sure why it's widely said that 6.3 is optimal ..
