Bigchunk Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Use seagar invisix and changed out all my line halfway through last season, used the kvd conditioner a few times. Usually respool twice a season. Just wondering how long most of you all change out, it still looks crystal clear. Dont want to kick myself in the a55 and lose some LCs Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 19, 2015 Super User Posted February 19, 2015 I only replace line "as needed". On a couple of rigs I fish the line (Tatsu #20) is at least three years old. I have some braids that might be older than that. 1 Quote
The Next KVD Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I replace as needed as well. Depends on how much use the line on a certain rod sees. I got some 15lb P-Line 100% Fluoro that's been on the same reel for the last 2 years now. Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted February 19, 2015 Super User Posted February 19, 2015 Same here, only replace when necessary. Some rods 2-3 times a year. Others haven't been down for a couple seasons. This is with Flouro and braid, mono you have to be a little more careful since it breaks down quicker when in the sun. Quote
Bigchunk Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 Thanks boys, im sorta new to the fluro game, but yea ive had briad that i ran in the salt for a few years before i changed. Guess i can save myself a few bucks Quote
