Looking to buy a landing net, and was considering a Frabill Conservation series net, I just can't decide between a 20X23'' hoop or a 23X 26'' hoop. I will be using it for bass and walleye, as well as big migratory brown trout and steelhead. My budget is around 125$. Thanks guys.

Just like a trolling motor -

Get the largest net you can deal with -  you'll be glad you did.

Both of those are solid selections btw ~

If you consider yourself a good fisherman get the bigger net. The first big pike or musky will prove it was the better choice.

I've got the Frabil Conservation series net and I hate it. If you fish with crankbaits, it takes forever to get the hooks out. A decent fish rolls in the net and you're done. I liked the handle that came with it so I use it with a rubber net I bought.

I really like the rubber coated nylon one I've got. Not perfectly snagless like the straight rubber netting, but it pulls through the water without the added resistance of rubber and doesn't give the fish a chance to bounce out like rubber seems to.
