I am heading to florida for 8 days on march 2nd visiting friends in the ocala area.Gonna be doing alot of LM fishing mainly from shore and wondering what I should bring for baits i'd love to bring them all but I am flying so limited to 1 bag of tackle. I heard live shiners are the best this time of year but I consider them cheating lol.  Any guidence will help. Thanks and tight lines.

Pit boss, bladed jig, Topwater Swimbait (Gambler). They couldn't resist the bladed jig fished slow when I was down there last month.

You only need 4 baits this time of year.  Siebert Outdoors Fogy in brown head/bluegill skirt.  Rage Toad Green pumkin pearl swirl.  Bitters Naked Swimmer in Watermelon shad or majic craw.  Bitters Vibe in shadow blue glitter.

Rig the Fogy with a small green trailer.

Toad - T-rig with a punch stop and a 1/16 oz bullet and a 3/0 ewg hook

Swimmer - same as toad but a 3/8 oz bullet.

Vibe same as the toad.

If for some reason you don't get bit on the above, throw a weightless Mardi Gras fluke.

I've been killing it with ZoomBait JuneBug Red paddle tail worms.

Texas rigged, reel them all kinds of ways, little faster/steadier for top water and sink/reel for underwater action.
